Why the filtered water is black at first? And will it be poisonous?

Because there is tiny charcoal powder in the unused activated carbon filter element, the filtered water may turn up black. About this, I suggest that you should wash activated carbon filter element with 1.5L water (about 3 bottles). After 3 bottles water, you can separate the cap and filter element, then wash the cap to ensure without remained charcoal power.
The black water is not poisonous, you can rest assured, because the activated carbon what we used is imported food-grade activated carbon.
